Eleven products sold at Walmart and Amazon have been recalled for various defects and injury risks this month.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) posted recalls for 11 products on Dec. 18 sold at Walmart, Amazon or both retailers. The products, ranging from children's toys and dressers to swimming pools and bed rails, are defective and pose serious injury risks and in some cases, even death. Fortunately, of the 11 recalls, no injuries had been reported, as of Dec. 18.
The largest of the recalls is for Mamisan Pain Relieving Topical Ointment. More than 50,000 jars of the ointment were recalled because the medication contains lidocaine, which requires child-resistant packaging, according to the U.S. Consumer Protection Safety Commission (CPSC). The ointment's packaging is not child resistant, posing a risk of injury or death if a child were to swallow the serum.
Here's a closer look at each of the 11 recalls.
